STATE CHAMP – ELLA WONG

Ella Wong won the Girls Division II OHSSA State Championship on the Gray Course at OSU by two strokes with a score of 71-75–146. Ella plays for Hawken School and has many wins on NCJT. Congratulations to Ella…from all your friends and fans on NCJT!

The boys team at Gilmour Academy finished 2nd in the Division III State Championship on the Scarlet Course at OSU. The entire Gilmour team played in at least one NCJT event this summer. (Nathan Flaherty, Alex Swinarski, Jack Popovich, Harry Rogers, Eric Anton).

Dominic Cosic and Jack Stover played in the Boys Division II State Championship at Northstar. Dominic had a great run through the first 27 holes (only 4 back with 9 to play), but wasn’t able to play well enough on his final 9 holes to close the gap. Dominik had 75-80–155 to finish T12. Jack Stover had 80-85–165 to finish T26.

Congratulations to all our NCJT players who played last weekend and best of luck to our Division I players that compete for the championship this coming weekend.
