Boys 16-19

Koen Van Scoy (Hudson) and Jimmy Hoose (Wickcliffe) tied for 1st in the Boys 16-19 division on a tough Little Mountain golf course. Both players shot 40-40–80, but the rounds were far from identical. Koen didn’t make a par until his 9th hole, however he did have back-to-back birdies on the same nine. Jimmy was more consistent with 9 pars and scattered bogeys along the way. Nolan Dumermuth (Concord) finished in 3rd with 43-42–85. Nolan had 2 birdies.

Boys 15 & Under

Nate Hazard (Olmsted Falls) and Will Cody (Shaker Hts) tied for 1st place with rounds of 83. Both players had comeback rounds of 44-39–83. Nate had one birdie and Will had 2 birdies on his last 4 holes, one being his final hole.

Mini-Tour

Preston Tolnar (Canfield) showcased his strong game with long drives, great fairway approaches and stellar putting. Preston shot 39 (+2) to win the Mini-Tour division. Preston putted for eagle on his 9th hole from long distance, and nearly made it be hitting the hole as the putt barely stayed out, which resulted in a tap in birdie!

NEXT TOUR STOP – Punderson (Newbury) on Thursday, June 6. Entries are still being accepted up until 4pm on the day prior to the start of the event. This policy applies to most NCJT tournaments.
