While total strokes are not considered in match play, Chase had just one bogey and 13 pars to claim a 5&4 win. Proving that short game wins championships, Chase had seven up and downs on the day including saves on the last 4 holes to claim the title. In Tuesday’s semi-final matches, Chase bested defending champion Lincoln Miller (Concord) 5&4 while Ty won by the same margin over Sammie Heiser (Pepper Pike).
