Brad Steven and Tony Milam Set Tournament Record (64) at JB Four-Ball Classic Cup

On June 27, 2025, at Quail Hollow (Delvin), Brad Steven and Tony Milam etched their names into the history books with a record-breaking performance at the JB Four-Ball Classic Cup. The duo fired an impressive 31-33โ€”64 to win the tournament by a single stroke over the formidable team of Dominik Cosic and Jami Morris, who finished with a strong 33-32โ€”65.

Both teams tallied seven birdies on the day, but the difference came down to a single shotโ€”a bogey on the par-3 6th hole by Cosic and Morris. With Steven and Milam already in the clubhouse at 7-under, the pressure was on as Cosic and Morris approached the 18th needing an eagle on the par-4 to tie. Jami Morris came agonizingly close to holing out, carding her seventh birdie instead.

It was a thrilling finish to a highly competitive roundโ€”one that will be remembered as one for the record books.

Get Ready for Two Big Weeks

Jim Dawson Match Play, The Qualifier & The Four-Ball

This event has great history and has always been one of the funniest events on tour. There are three ways to enter the Jim Dawson Match Play, but you only need to do one to enter.

  • Enter the Match Play Qualifier at Pine Ridge (Thursday, June 19), this is the preferred method for non-exempt players. You must first register for the Pine Ridge event, then you can add-on the qualifier. Your score from the Pine Ridge event will earn you a proper placement in the bracket. No other entry is needed once you enter the qualifier. Everyone will qualify and your score will seed you in the bracket properly.
  • Exempt players (prior champions and such are listed on the info page), you enter directly in the Jim Dawson Match Play on June 24-25.
  • If you can’t or didn’t play in the Pine Ridge Qualifier, then you can enter directly into the Match play event on June 24-25. You will be seeded based on spots open and your average score if needed.

Please take note, that once you enter any one of these methods you are in the Match Play event. Do not enter both, that’s a double entry. All qualifiers will make the field and the bracket will be posted once the bracket is full or it could be a few days before the event if spots remain open.

The JB Four-Ball (Getting Close to Last Call)

We have a great field stacking up for the The JB Four-Ball (Friday, June 27). If you haven’t got your entry in yet, please do so by Monday evening, June 23, 2025. A Four-Ball is the better ball of two players for each hole. Itโ€™s the most popular team format in golf! You must pick your own partner! This is a very fun competition atย Quail Hollow CC (Concord, OH).

Team Make-up โ€“ Itโ€™s very open to anyone ever affiliated with the North Coast Junior Tour. Itโ€™s a popular event for former players and even our older Alumni (some 40ish in ageโ€ฆhard to believe). Current NCJT players can team up or grab another golfing buddy from their club to make-up a team. As long as ONE player was affiliated with NCJT, they are eligible to bring any level of โ€œringerโ€ they would like. Father-son teams are also popular at the Four-Ball. Bottomline, donโ€™t miss this oneโ€ฆ itโ€™s a great day!

Once you sign-up, please email us to confirm who you are partnering with: send to tmilam@ncjt.org.

Agenda

  • 9:00 AM โ€“ Registration, Breakfast Box & Warm-up (at practice area)
  • 10:00 AM โ€“ Shotgun Start
  • 2:30 PM โ€“ Awards Streak Fry at Sunny Street Cafe (Patio)

Entry Fee โ€“ $120 per playerย (includes golf, carts, gift, awards, breakfast and steak fry dinner)
