Robert Kimmel has a great season going with 5 wins in 7 starts. Robert’s 72 (E) at Manakiki was the low round in the Overall Boys Division. His even par round included 14 pars, 2 birdies and 2 bogeys. Scoring was difficult in the wet conditions, but Robert was able to play a very consistent round. In his division (Boys 14-15), Dominik Cosic finsihed 2nd with a 78. Tied for third was Domenic Pilla and Even Lewis with 88.

In the Boys 16-19 division, Gunnar McCollins fired a 73 (+1) to take first place. Gunnar was 4 over par thru 11 holes, but played the last 7 holes in 3 under. Gunnar will be playing college golf at Cleveland State this fall and is making a return visit to NCJT this week after playing mostly state and national level events over the last few years. Thomas Coyne and Liam Ottaway finished second with 80’s.

Ella Wong and Olivia Zampedro tied for first with 88’s. Ella has been hard to beat with season, she has 3 wins in 4 starts so far, but Olivia played solid and matched her at Manakiki. The course played long due to the hilly and wet conditions, which caused the scores to soar. Marina Marusic had 91 in her season debut to finish 3rd.
