NCJT’s 2016 Dual Membership Offer with HJGT

NCJT and the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour will be offering a dual membership in 2016.  This program allows our tour memberships to compete locally and nationally, while building their college golf resumes year round.  The cost for HJGT’s Players Package is $64 after joining NCJT first.  The full details of the dual membership can be found here – 2016 Dual Membership HJGT-NCJT (final)

Day of Service in Memory of Mr. Brown will be on March 20th

To honor Mr. Jim Brown for his loyal support of junior golf for 25 years, NCJT will be hosting a special day of service in his honor.  The main event will be held at St. Gabriel Catholic Church in Concord, Ohio on March 20 from 12noon to 4pm.  The event will benefit the Deepwood Foundation and the Lake County Board of Developmental Disabilities.  The theme of this event will be a March Madness celebration with adults and children from these organizations.  The event will feature the college basketball tournament, games in the gym; including backetball, golf, cornhole and more.  There will also be crafts and food at the celebration.  The participates at this event love sports and being active, so plan on a high-spirited celebration with lots of one-on-one interaction.

As announced in our New Year’s bulletin this “Day of Service” in memory of Mr. Jim Brown, our legendary sponsor for more than two decades and the founder of the Classic Auto Group, will benefit causes cherished by Mr. Brown.  During the event junior tour members and their families will lend a helping hand to these charities in his memory.

To date we already have a big signup from our tour families for the event, but there is still time to signup if you wish to help.  To support this mission, please email Mr. Milam at tmilam@pga.com to be added to the list of volunteers.  If the March 20th date doesn’t fit your schedule or you live too far from the main event at St. Gabriel, we encourage you to setup your own volunteer day with a local charity of your choosing.  If you setup your own volunteer day to support this mission, please complete your service and report the details back to the Mr. Milam by March 20th.  This will ensure that all service provided by the tour for this mission will be listed and published together.  This opportunity is available for current or former members and anyone that would like to help.  Please spread the word and make sure to signup early.  Please signup by March 1, to be included in the planning of assignments for the main event.
