The first round of this week’s Osborne Junior Series was at Little Mountain in Concord, Ohio. Nolan Laughlin continued his good play with an opening round of 74. Two bounce-back birdies helped him overcome a few bogeys and a par three double. On the girls side, Toni Stranman fired a first round 12 over 82 to take a one shot lead into the final round at Black Brook.
In the single day competition at Little Mountain, Andrew Britton won by 3 shots with a 1 over par 71. He managed to hit 10 greens in regulation and converted 4 of those into birdies. Richard Jacobs had 3 birdies in his round of 76 to win the Boys 14-15 Division. In the Boys 13 & Under Division, Conner Stevens and Jay Magyari tied with rounds of 75. Between the two, they hit 27 greens out of 36. Alexandra Stahler won the Girls 16-19 Division after shooting a 7 over 77. She managed to hit 11 of the 13 fairways. Grace Gao collected another win in the Girls 15 & Under Division with her 12 over par 82.
