Junior Golf in Northeast Ohio is has been on a big upswing for the last 20 years and it’s paying off for junior golfers in Cleveland, Akron, Canton, Norwalk, Sandusky and Youngstown. There are four major junior golf tours in Northeast Ohio, offering a vast array of junior golf tournaments for experience junior golfers:
North Coast Junior Tour (NCJT)
Southwest Junior Tour (SWGT)
Northern Ohio PGA Junior Tour (NOPGA)
Lake Erie Junior Golf Association (LEJGA)
Each year these junior tour’s graduate more than 50 junior golfers that move into the college golf. Most of these juniors earn college golf scholarships from partial to full rides. For more information on college golf and scholarships, please visit our College Golf section HERE.
There are also a couple of national tours that host events in Northern Ohio, like the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour and the AJGA. Junior golfers in Northern Ohio have an array of competition to improve their competitive experience. Whether it’s to play better in high school competition or to be recognized for college golf.
